| I was born and brought up in
Harrow-on-the-hill. Educated:
St. Dominics, Harrow.
Trained:
I obtained my medical degree at the Royal Free Hospital, London after which I
received my house training in general surgery with Professor Hobbs at the Royal
Free. Moving on to Barnet General Hospital I received further training in medicine
under Dr. Barnes.
I undertook my 3 year GP training at the Queen Elizabeth in King's Lynn working in
casualty, obstetrics/gynaecology, psychiatry and medicine for the elderly.
Career:
While bringing up my family, I worked as a locum in general practice in Norfolk.
I became a partner in the practice at Burnham Market in January 1995.
