I was born in West Ham, London in 1957 and later moved to Billericay in Essex.
Educated:
King Edward Grammar School, Chelmsford.
Career:
I entered the world of banking when I joined NatWest
in1975. During my career in the Bank I moved between Chelmsford, Witham, Braintree
and Saffron Walden. At Chelmsford I worked in securities/investments, later
returning as Senior Manager.
I was Assistant Manager at Witham and spent time at Braintree before becoming Assistant
Branch Accountant at Saffron Walden. I then moved to Norwich and during my time
there I was Regional Business Manager, Regional Training Manager and, finally, Senior Personal
Banking Manager.
I joined Burnham Market Surgery as a Practice Manager in 2002.

Family:
I married Sally in 1981 and have three sons and one daughter.
Personal Interests:
A family man, my main outside interest is sport, particularly football and
cricket. I am still a keen supporter of West Ham. |
