A letter from Sister Eileen Ledgerwood in response to the kindnesses
shown her
on the night of her Surgery retirement party on the 30th May 2006.

Dear Friends,
Having just returned from my holiday travels the real
retirement truly begins and my first task is to write this letter
thanking you all so much for the many cards, presents and good
wishes. The 'book' I received recording all your
messages and signatures is overwhelming.
With the money you so generously donated, Brian and I
have so far purchased a six seater patio table and chairs complete
with parasol. We shall also spend the rest of the money on our
garden. When we sit at the table I shall raise a glass to you
all. Cheers!
The patient farewell evening was special and it has
left me with very happy memories. I send a personal thank you
to those who helped to make it that way for me.
It has been a privilege to be at Burnham Market Surgery for the last
17 years and to meet you all.
Please take care of yourselves
Love
Eileen
